Chocolate-Chocolate Chip Banana Protein Waffles

I’m back at it with trying new recipes and accidentally finding some worth sharing! I’m trying to up my protein intake without eating nothing but egg whites and chicken. ☺ Keep in mind, I was cooking for myself. The below recipe makes one waffle, so you’ll need to adjust servings appropriately for however many people you are feeding.

42g bisquick (shake & pour)

21g chocolate protein powder

44g banana (in the recipe)

55g banana (on the waffle afterwards)

5g mini chocolate chips (in the recipe)

2g mini chocolate chips (on the waffle afterwards)


9ml lite buttermilk syrup


First, I heated my waffle iron to a medium heat and sprayed it with non-stick cooking spray. Then I prepared my mix. I whisked the Bisquick, protein powder, banana, chocolate chips & water until it reached the desired consistency. I poured the mix into the center of the waffle iron and let it cook for about 2 minutes.

After I removed the waffle from the iron, I topped it with bananas, chocolate chips and a lite syrup.
